Octopus is a next-generation tennis base grip designed to absorb harsh vibration from ball impact while returning energy back into your hand.
Unlike soft foam grips that can feel dead, Octopus uses an elastic silicone structure that compresses on impact and rebounds back — giving you a cushioned but responsive racket Feel.
In short: less shock, more rebound, better control.
Octopus is a replacement grip / base grip. It replaces the grip that sits directly on your racket handle.
You can still use your regular overgrip on top if you prefer extra tackiness or a familiar outer feel.
Fits all standard tennis rackets.
Installation takes only a few minutes:
- Remove the old grip and clean the handle
- Slide the Octopus grip onto the application tool (included in the package)
- Roll the grip upward on the tool until it is fully inverted and ready for installation
- Flip the edge of the grip to reverse its direction, preparing it to roll onto the handle
- Place the tool onto the handle and start rolling the grip smoothly onto the racket
- Continue rolling the grip down along the handle until it is fully installed
- For extra security, apply double-sided tape underneath the grip
- Wrap your overgrip and secure it — ready to play!
Is this an overgrip?
No. Octopus is a base grip / replacement grip. It goes under your overgrip.
Will I lose racket feel?
No. Octopus is designed to reduce harsh vibration while keeping the racket responsive.
Can it help with tennis elbow or wrist strain?
It is designed to absorb vibration, which may support wrist and elbow comfort. It is not a medical device or treatment.
Is it softer than standard base grip?
Yes, it provides more shock absorption than original base grip while still keeping a responsive feel.
